Guorong Chen, Jie Li from Chongqing University of Science and Technology visit CSLT.

Bio:

Guorong Chen got his PhD degree in Chongqing University and is a professor at Chongqing University of Science and Technology. He is also a visiting scholar of University of Ottawa, and the vice director of the Chongqing Key Lab of Online Analysis and Control. Prof. Chen is among the Chongqing science and technology innovation talents, an invited expert of Chongqing government on production safety, an expert of the manufacture informatization expert committee of Chongqing "Twelfth Five Year Plan". Prof. Chen is among the technical innovation experts of the national standard committee, an expert of the national SME innovation and development committee, a board member of the National College Manufacturing Automation Research Association, a professional researcher of China petroleum and gas industry expert library. He is also a reviewer of "Production Planning & Control".

Prof. Chen's main research is in complex networks and production safety. He has published nearly 30 SCI/EI-indexed papers and awarded 6 patents and software copyrights. He joined 12 national and provincial projects, participated nearly 20 projects including several 863 projects. He won the Chongqing scientific and technological progress award (second level) three times, and has been involved in drafting many local regulations and plans for science and technology development of Chongqing, including the "Twelfth Five science and technology and the development of strategic emerging industries of Chongqing city planning".

Dr.Jie Li obtained her PhD degree in 2011 at the University of Chongqing, Department of Automation. From 2012-2014, Dr. Li worked at the Green Intelligence Research Institute, the Chinese Academy of Sciences at Chongqing. Since April 2014, she is a lecture at the Chongqing University of Science and Technology.

The research interest of Dr. Li involves product security over network of things and intelligent algorithms. She also teaches courses including "RFID technology and applications", "wireless sensory network". Dr. Li holds 5 patents and published more than 10 scientific papers, with 7 papers indexed by SCI/EI。Dr. Li serves reviewing a number of journals, including "International Journal of Computer Mathematics"（SCI）, "International Journal of System Science"(SCI),"Journal of Marketing and Business Management" and "Journal of Reviews on Global Economics".
