Progress in last week:
(1)Use MetaMap to map the raw text to UMLS concepts.
(2)expand the UMLS concepts to many others expressions, with the help of UMLS metathesaurus.
Plan for this week:
(1)classify all the semantic types of the concepts into three categories: medical named entites, medical related terms and common words.
(2)Help complete the retrieval system.(Apply diversity ranking algorithms if time permits)
